Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I believe we don't always understand how we create road blocks to our success by making choices that are not aligned with ultimate goals. We unconsciously can select people that end up being challenging because it's our attempt to master that situation and resolve it once and for all. In sorting through what's happening and why and how we inadvertently contribute to the problem, we can make long-term change. As a strength-based and solution-focused therapist, my treatment approach is to actively listen, understand obstacles and help you find solutions. With sensitivity and compassion, I work to help bring resolution to a wide range of life challenges and psychological concerns. With an integration of complimentary methods, I draw from a selection of styles and techniques to incorporate what is most helpful. Together with each client, we build on strengths to achieve life goals.

Phillip Copitch, PhD

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Redding, CA 96001

Approximately half of Dr. Copitch's practice involves children and families. The other half is devoted to individual therapy. And, as Dr. Copitch often jokes, "the third half of my work is devoted to school consultations, business consultations, and corporate trainings."
