Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you concerned that your child or teen is going through a hard time? Are you tired of your teen talking back, but not talking to you? Have you noticed that they are struggling in school? Perhaps you and your family have been struggling with recent changes from a separation, divorce, or the loss of a loved one, and you are looking for a way to help your family adjust to those changes and get back to being happy? If you’re someone who is feeling that they want to connect with others and build a healthier and more satisfying life, then you are ready to take action to make it happen. As a professional who has researched and worked with children and families, I can help you and your family. My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. My approach as a counseling therapist involves using warmth, empathy, and humor in my work with children, teens, and families to reconnect them with each other and get them back on the path towards personal growth. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we can unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Redding, CA 96001

Approximately half of Dr. Copitch's practice involves children and families. The other half is devoted to individual therapy. And, as Dr. Copitch often jokes, "the third half of my work is devoted to school consultations, business consultations, and corporate trainings."
